Coordinator of Outreach and Communications


The Coordinator of Outreach and Communications will coordinate, plan and implement school outreach, communications and alumni strategies of this Catholic PreK-12 school with 600 students located in Sandusky, Ohio.


The Coordinator will work closely with the Advancement and Development staff, school faculty and administration to provide leadership as we communicate our schools rich traditions with students, families, alumni and the community. The Coordinator is tasked with designing programs that align with the strategic vision and philosophy of Sandusky Central Catholic School. 




  • Combination of education, training, and/or experience equivalent to completion of a Bachelor or Associate degree with major coursework in Communications, Marketing or related field.

  • Understanding of planning, marketing and outreach strategies, communication skills, relationship building and donor-agency ethical practices.

  • Previous experience in jobs that require organizational planning, writing, media relations, and marketing principles and best practices.

  • Ability to use Microsoft programs, Adobe, Constant Contact and social media platforms to relay our messages.

  • Ability to work with volunteers and to manage their activities.
